Europe’s longest ski run
Europe’s longest ski run with a cable car to the top is 22 kilometers long and has an elevation difference of 2790 meters. It starts at Aiguille du Midi at the foot of Mont Blanc and proceeds down through Vallée Blanche to Chamonix.
Tate Modern has a treat lined up: The EY Exhibition Picasso 1932 – Love, Fame, Tragedy opens on March 8 and focuses on 1932, Picasso’s most creative year. Three nude portraits of the artist’s lover Marie-Thérèse Walter will be shown together for the first time since then (photo: “Nude in a Black Armchair”).
