Raku Inoue scours nature for specimens to add to his collection of flower, stalks leaves und twigs, the components of his miniature sculptures – glued collages – that often depict insects. For her PLI.É project, Pauline Loctin, aka Miss Cloudy, fashioned ballet dresses made entirely of paper. The delicate origami creations, modeled by famous ballerinas from Paris, Rome, New York and Montreal, have been cast in the perfect light by photographer Melika Dez, whose images can be acquired on the website.
Potholes are a nuisance and sometimes dangerous, so Chicago is lucky to have Jim Bachor to fill them with mosaics of stone and colored glass set in cement. Bachor decided to use the ancient craft after working on excavations at the ancient site of Pompei.
