The American psychedelic folk singer and supreme eccentric Devendra Banhart drew on his autobiography for his mellow pop album, Ma. Expect some whacky entertainment at his gigs in Germany next month: Berlin (1/24), Leipzig (1/26) and Cologne (1/29).

I spotted this woman’s snack stand on my first day in a fishing village near Buenaventure in Colombia. On my last day, the contrast between the warm afternoon light and the blue paint of the stand were too much for me to resist – as were her empanadas.
