Bombardier CRJ900
A Canadian highflier
The first Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) went into the air in the early 1990s as a low-capacity, short-haul aircraft. The first model, the CRJ100 only had seating accommodation for 50 passengers. The Canadian manufacturer Bombardier has now developed larger models – like the CRJ900, which is 36.4 meters long and carries up to 90 passengers. The CRJ900 is the largest aircraft category flying Lufthansa’s regional routes.
